Creativity of nature redefined at Houtou Wan due to abandoning by inhabitants
The best example of the creativity of nature can be found at the Houtou Wan, a Chinese village which was
abandoned for the last 50 years due to the size of fishing vessels outgrowing the bay size and forcing the
inhabitants to relocate except some. It is located on one among the 394 islands on the Yangtze River and during
those 50years, nature has worked upon the village and it is now covered with thick layer of green vegetation. It
has again attracted people, not as residents, but as tourists who come in huge numbers to see the creativity of
nature.
