Easter Island- best archeological site in Pacific Ocean
Across 3500 km across the shores of Chile is the most amazing archeological site in the Pacific Ocean. It is
located in the Easter Island. The best part of the island is that some huge old statues known as Moai are carried
by the volcanic quarry to all over the island. They are also regarded as religious symbols because of the way
they are carried automatically and arranged. The arrangements of the Moai in their current locations also puzzle
many archeologists of present time. The Spanish and Polynesian names of the island are Isla de Pascua and
Rapa Nui respectively.
